This is the second most ancient city of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms.And today it an archaeological park is a delight to explore with hundreds of ancient structures, Temples & Statues.

Begin the day with fresh breath to climb up Sigiriya rock fortress named as UNESCO world heritage site and also well known to be the 8 th wonder of the world. Do not miss this experience.Get a marvelous view from the top of the Sigiriya rock with the beautiful sun rise.
After climbing the lion rock we will next head into a cultural village tour in beautiful Hiriwadunna Village.
Get the experience of riding on a bullock cart, step on the paddy fields and go for a boat ride on a small & beautiful lake and experience the Sri lankan lifestyle.
Cultural village has a delicious authentic Sri lankan lunch cooked in a villagers’ home.
After lunch go for a Jeep safari at Minneriya / Kaudulla National Park or Eco Hurulu park. Where you can watch herds of elephants go to the reservoir as the sun goes down.

We will spend several days in Namche ahead of most trekkers, and will visit the monasteries in Tengboche and Pangboche.
