Negombo is another city which attracts tourists when travelling to sri lanka . the old dutch fort and dutch canal is two of the main attraction and St.mary’s church is one of the largest cathedrals in sri lanka. Considered that the population of negombo is 99% roman catholic it comes as no surprise that it is quite an important building in the city.
